Fish Reports Maine and New Hampshire>
Tuna are here!

September 16, 2009

Well it's been a while (month) since the last newsletter. Reason is there hasn't been much to report. Striper fishing slowed down dramatically after a couple of storms blew through and over a week of East winds seems to have put down the Striper fishing again. I haven't seen many Blues, 1 here and there but nothing consistent.

Good news!!!! Hallelujah!!!!!!! After three trips out for Tuna we finally hit them big yesterday. Caught two fish. The first one we kept was 44" and about 65#. The second fish took an hour to get in but we tagged and released it. The second fish was a few inches bigger than the first and weighed about 75#. Roy and Peter did a fine job on the fish and we all had a ball. It was a spectacular day with TUNA, WHALES, DOLPHINS, no wind and 70ish degrees......AIN'T LIFE GRAND! "JUST LIVIN THE DREAM".

More Pics on the TUNA as I get them!
