13 More weeks until "Hot Pursuit" is in the water!

Hi all,
I'm sitting at my desk looking out the window at a snow storm. It's difficult thinking that I have to wait 13 more weeks to wet a line. However, the boat is stored in a heated building and I'm able to get at it to putter and clean throughout the winter - kind of keeps my mind off of the current weather.
I'm looking forward to better weather and hopefully better fishing this year. Striper fishing was slow (at best). While we caught some decent size fish the action was inconsistent and we even got skunked a few times (very embarrassing and frustrating). Blue fish in Maine were non-existent, however I did make a few runs down to the Merrimack River in Mass. and we did catch some Blues. Bottom fishing was excellent but we only had 8 ground fish charters. Tuna fishing was exceptional when we were able to get out but the wind kept us in port on many September and October days and we actually had to come in early on five occasions because the wind picked up much more than was forecasted. On most of the days we got out we caught at least one Tuna and on a few days we caught two.
I'll keep you posted on launch dates and fishing news and look forward to fishing with you this year.
